Text: Psalms 46:1-3

1 God is our refuge and strength,

an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth
give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the
sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Ang Diyos an lakas natin at kanlungan at
handang sumaklolo kung may kaguluhan.
Di dapat matakot, mundo' mayanig man, kahit na
dagat, ang bundok mabuwal
Kahit na magngalit yaong karagatan,
at ang mga burol maynig magimbal.
Introduction:
1.) Last year we heard a
different calamity, disasters in
a various places.
Ex. -thunderstorm in Batanes
-Earthquake in Pampanga
Davao
-Fire in a various places.
2.) lack of water
Supply- El nino in
Metro Manila and
some other places
(such as a lot of rain
in areas that is
usually dry.)
3.) this year we see and experience the taal volcano
erupted.
Volcano- a mountian with a hole in the top or side
that sometimes sends out rocks, ash lava, etc. in a
sudden explosion. (called an eruption)
4.) In this verse God has the ability to save
us.
1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath
but to receive salvation through our Lord
Jesus Christ.

1. To save you from fire.
Isaiah 43:2
When you walk through the fire you will
not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze

Kapag dumaan ka sa apoy , hindi ka

masusunog, at ang liyab nito'y hindi

thunderstorm
ex. Jesus calms the

Nang naglayag sila, nakatulog si Hesus. Maya-
maya'y lumakas ang hangin at pinasok ng
maraming tubig ang bangka nila, kaya nalagay sila
ng panganib.
Nilapitan si Hesus ng mga tagasunod niya at
ginising , “Guro,guro! malulunod na tayo at
bumangon si Hesus at pinatigil ang malakas na
hangin at ang malalaking alon. Tumigil ang mga ito
at biglang kumalma ang panahon.
3. God has the ability to protect you from
volcano eruption and earthquake.
4. God has the ability to rescue from the
mouth of the lions.
a. (tsismis) mouth of the mockers.
b. Deceitful mouth.
Conclusion:
Therefore we will not fear though
the earth shake and the
oceans,rivers flow and the
mountains fall. For God is our
refuge and deliverer from
disasters.
Psalms 145:20
The Lord watches over all who
love but all the wicked he will
destroy.
Psalms 145:18
the Lord is hear to all who call on
Him ,to all who call on him in truth.
