this universe a better place
to live for all.
 ethics : it is the study of
human personal actions in
respect to their being right
or wrong.
Ethics & ethical mind:
 ethical mind broadens respect for others
into something more abstract. A person
with ethical mind ask her “what kind of
person I should be?”.
 Ethical concept & behaviors demands
certain capacity to go beyond own
experience as individual person.

more like imperial spectator of a team, or
organisation,or of the world & sacrifices respect
for another person.

 Each person has an equal right to the most
basic liberties comparable with similar liberties
for others

a) reasonably expected to be to everyone’s advantage
and

Moral pluralism: is the idea that there are
several values which may be equally correct and
fundamental, and yet in conflict with each other
 In addition, moral-pluralism postulates that in
many cases, such incompatible values may be
incommensurable, in the sense that there is no
objective ordering of them in terms of
importance
Sunshine test: in discussing ethics there is
one overall “test” to determine whether behavior
is ethical or not ,this is known as sunshine test.
 And the idea is that you ask yourself if you
would be happy for your friend and peers to
know what are you doing ,if no ,then its fair bet
what you are doing is unethical
 Beauty of test is that it implicitly takes into
accounts society’s value.
 Conflict management: Conflict
management refers to the long-term
management of intractable conflicts.
 It is the label for the variety of ways by
which people handle grievances—standing
up for what they consider to be right and
against what they consider to be wrong.
Case study: A case study is a research
methodology. Its a part of research study.
It's based on an in-depth investigation of
a single individual, group, or event.
 Case studies may be descriptive or
explanatory. The latter type is used to
explore causation in order to find
underlying principles.
Etiquettes
 Etiquettes is something that is code of
behavior that delineates expectation for
social behavior according to contemporary
conventional norms within a any
organization, class, society.
Movie viewing
As its believed seeing is
believing as apart of
course curriculums, to
learnt more about
etiquettes a movie called
“princess diaries-1”was
viewed among the class.
Business etiquettes
Business etiquettes is
referred to manners and
behavior considered
acceptable in business
situation.

 Giving example, in Japan business cards
are presented only with both hands
positioned so that the person can read
it(bowing)
Electronic etiquette
Telephone etiquette: many intercultural
encounters in business are via telephone .while
talking mainly by voice quality 70% of intial
impression is formed ,rather than word spoken
(30%).
 good telephone manners include answering the
phone promptly( 1st/sec ring)
 Identifying yourself
 Courteous all the times,including please and
thank you with voice with smile
Dress code at work
 Most business companies expect their
employees to maintain a dress code. A detailed
description of what type of dress is expected will
be made clear to employees .
 When on a business visit (a meeting or
finalizing a deal), a suit is the most appropriate
attire. A light-colored collared shirt, a matching
necktie, and formal leather shoes look smart.
Dark-colored suits look presentable and are the
norm at most conferences.

 Though clothes need not be expensive or
fashionably cut, they must be clean and
well ironed. Neatness is very important.
Taking care of hair, teeth and personal
hygiene are much important. Carrying
deodorant and mouth freshener keeps
good impression;
