and refined
• Humanism(Renaissance period)---is a rational
philosophy informed by science,inspired by art
and motivated by compassion.

• --affirms the dignity of human being and


supports the maximization of each individual’s
liberty and opportunity

• ---it recognizes human beings as a part of


nature and holds values
• it derives the goals of life of human
need and interest rather than from
theological or ideological
abstractions and asserts that
humanity must take responsibility for
its own destiny.
Humanities

people process and document human
experience.

philosophy,literature,religion,art,music

history and language to understand our
