7. Positive attitude toward work – see work as an expression of love for people who are important
to us.
THE CHALLENGES OF ADOLESCENCE
My learnings:
• Self-esteem it's about believing in oneself and having confidence.
• Physical appearance is not about your looks it's about your personality.
• Group belongingness it is better to join a health and wholesome organization that will help
you develop oneself, or certain aspects of self, such as talent, skill or interests.
• Sexuality and sexual relationships being responsible of their action is the guiding principle
toward a healthy sexuality.
• Academic concerns it's about grades, grades is important because it helps a person achieve goals
THE CHALLENGES OF ADOLESCENCE
My learnings:
• Choosing the right course and career path one's choice of career will have a direct
impact on the future.
• Parents working abroad it's hard for us but it's more harder on them because they
sacrifice their lives so that we can study and have a better future someday.
• Other challenges there are other challenges facing adolescents and may not even
aware that they experiencing it.
STRATEGIES TO COPE WITH CHALLENGES
My learnings:
• Learn to accept what you feel. Accepting your feelings
• Identify your vulnerabilities. Acknowledging how you feel would help you think ways to handle.
• Develop your talents and interests. Attaining positive self-esteem help boost your psychological
well-being.
• Become more involved with others. Attain happiness through helping others and sharing what
they have with others.
• Seek help when needed. We are still not used to solve problems alone.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
My learnings:
• Being responsible means being dependable
• Nobody can get away from the responsibilities and duties placed on them by others.
• Each person plays different role in this society.
BUILDING BLOCKS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As a student you need to know your own duties and responsibilities in life,
learn how to interact with others especially when you have a problem.
Helping others or serving others also helping your community. Good deeds
should be done with intentions, not for attention.
