that knowledge comes only or primarily from sensory experience. It is one of several views of
epistemology, along with rationalism and skepticism. Empiricism emphasizes the role of empirical
evidence in the formation of ideas, rather than innate ideas or traditions.

Learning task 7.

“What Am I”

This is Me. I am Unique. I am Good because...

Despite my lack of talent and intelligence, I am a hardworking individual. I used to be the last one in class
to understand and memorize the readings among all of my classmates. It took me a long time to learn the
lessons, whereas others only needed one or two times when the teacher gave the lesson to figure out the
section. In class, though, I was always first. I was also named ‘Best Student of the Year.' Aside from my
schoolwork, I was open and honest with everyone. I used to admire and respect my seniors and junior
classmates. As a result, I've improved as a teacher. Furthermore, because of my humble demeanor,
everyone respects me. Finally, I'd like to emphasize that we should never lose hope, no matter how
emotionally or physically ill we are. Rather, we must work hard to make our aspirations a reality. We
should accept our flaws but not regard them as flaws.

I do not believe I am attractive, and I believe those who say negative things about me. When people
compare me to others, it hurts a lot. I tried to adjust my outfit, hairstyle, and overall appearance, but I was
unable to impress them. But I've realized that wasting time on such things is pointless. As a result, I
remain focused on my studies – I am a hardworking, creative, balanced, and upbeat young lady. It has
aided me in achieving good results, and at the very least, it has allowed me to impress my teachers. I may
not be able to do everything, but there is something I can do, and I will do what I can. It is not my
problem if others do not accept me for who I am. Instead, I want to improve my expertise and educational
credentials. My distinctive quality is that I have a desire to become special and valuable to others. I am
content and accept myself as I am.

Other than my weaknesses, I had never considered my positive characteristics. I used to be trying to instill
positive traits in myself. Through counseling and personal reflection, I was able to avoid making poor
judgments and move forward on the road to success. Right now, I'm still doing it. In my opinion, no one
in the world is flawless in every way. Each individual has flaws. What important, though, is a strong will
to overcome those flaws in order to go forward and achieve goals. As far as I'm aware, I'm a highly
emotional person who places a high importance on feelings and sentiments. Being emotional has been
both a strength and a weakness for me. Besides, I'm appreciative and capable of expressing gratitude and
appreciation to others. This has been one of my greatest assets, one that has helped me achieve wonderful
things in life that have turned into accomplishments. Inconsiderate people irritate me a lot. They irritate
me because they are unconcerned with other people's feelings and thoughts. Every thought, in my
opinion, should be honored. As a result, I consider myself respectful to others' feelings and views. In my
life, this quality has brought individuals closer together. One of the best qualities is kindness. In addition,
I am outgoing, extrovert, and friendly. All of these qualities have greatly aided me in creating and
sustaining public relations, which I consider to be a strength.

Everyone, including myself, has advantages and disadvantages. If someone were to analyze me, I might
not be flawless. However, there are some positive characteristics that distinguish myself. I've transformed
from what I was into something more effervescent, accommodating, and compassionate. I'm glad to
announce that I have a small group of acquaintances. Today, I work in a company where I have
distinguished myself from the competition. Being supportive of others has helped me acquire my
colleagues' trust, and my confidence has helped me progress. This brighter side of my life, I believe, is
one of my most valuable qualities and will propel me forward.

I've never been happy with the things I've been given. I put in more effort in order to provide a more
pleasing product. My motto is, "Never be satisfied; always strive for more." I've found that having the
fewest expectations has helped me adapt to reality. I have a habit of expecting very little from life, so
when I exceed my expectations, I am overtaken with excitement. I prefer to be alone in my own universe,
where I can communicate to myself and where the outer world has no effect on me, regardless of the
circumstances. These characteristics distinguish me from others.
