What is communication?
Communication is basically defined as the transfer of information from one place
to another, or from one source to another.
METHODS OF COMMUNICATION
• Verbal communication

COMMUNICATION METHODS
Well, that solely depends on the message that is being passed, along with the
importance. There are many ways to deliver communication, wither oral or verbal
or non verbal.
• If your messages or information is ready then.
• The next step is to determine which methods you will use to communicate your
message to your target audience.
• This is critical step that can also make or break the entire Communication
project. But how?

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT METHODS
FOR YOUR PROJECT COMMUNICATION?
Good news is acceptable as a written message. However bad news or events that
are difficult to understand can be more acceptable As face to face
Communication.
3.How long is the message being sent?
Long message can be best sent as document that has been edited to make it’s
complexity easier to follow and understand. However, the best part is that the
can look back and refer to the message for a better understanding or to get needed
information.
4. How many people will receive the message?
When a large amount of people can’t gather together to receive the same
message, written is the best from of Communication. It is more effective and
efficient.
Is the credibility of communication is important?
When credibility is a factor,, the most effective form of communication is a
written letter on an official document, such as companies letterhead. E- mail
messages and oral communication is not acceptable forms of credible
Communication.
6.I time of the essence? Is feedback needed?
When message is urgent, require immediate answer, action or feedback, the
message will be most effective as phone call. When documentation is necessary
a fax with a delivery confirmation or email with a return receipt might provide as
an alternative.

FINALLY, HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE
RIGHT METHODS?
• Most often you will need to choose more than one method effectively reach the
majority of the peoples in your target audience. You will need to choose a
combination of methods that will give you the best chance at your
commmunicating message.
• If message is extremely important or a sensitive issue, more than one form
might be necessary as effective means of communication. Many times a short
oral communication followed by a written memo or a letter will provide
confirmation of the details of the conversation.
