Terminal Operation Best Practice- DO’s

Check for ONLINE/ OFFLINE in terminal control software when


ATM goes “out of service

Check with network service provider, Diebold when ATM goes


“off line”.

Log on to Maintenance mode and view status list when ATM goes
“online/ Out of service”.

Perform ATM self test and check the module performance.


Required “Cash/ Stationary” Supply should be replenished on time
to avoid Down time related to supplies.

Currency should be fanned before loading in the Cassette. Load the


bills as per Diebold RECOMMENDATION.

Press Blue coloured Latch while removal and Insertion of currency


cassette.

Physical cash should be verified whenever dispenser related


problem is reported.
Terminal Operation Best Practice- DO’s

 Call Diebold service for further assistance before making the


ATM operational for customers.

Proper shutdown should be done in case of switching off the


ATM for any Maintenance scheduled on UPS, VSAT, Server and any
other gadget related to ATM Center.

Pull out the dispenser trolley once in a week to check for any
foreign objects in the presenter area and push the trolley back to
position firmly.

Perform test print after replacing the paper roll and ribbon
cartridge in the printers.

Shut down ATM to avoid any software crash when UPS shows
wrong symptoms in Electrical Power.
