To making a call, you should always start with hello and introducing yourself. You
can say “This is (Name) from (Company).”

This way is used to ask someone you want to call. You can say “May I speak to (their
name)?”, “I’d like to speak to (their name), please?”, “Is (name) there?”, and “Is
(name) available?”

Reason for calling
This way is used to give the reason why you called the person. You can say “I’m
calling to ask about …”, “I’m calling to discuss …”, “I’m calling to clarify …”, “I
just wanted to ask..”
• I’m calling to ask about product information. • I just wanted to ask about
product license.
• I’m calling to discuss prices.
After you have told the purpose of your call. ask the question you want to convey.
You can say “Could you tell me…”

Steps to ending a call formally
One thing you want to avoid is just sunddenly saying good bye. To end a business call
professionally, there are three simple steps to follow :
1. First, you signal that you want to end .
2. Secondly , you review your action point , and
3. Finally you say goodbye.
Signal
Singnaling that you want to end a call often starts with a word like : "well" , "so", or
"okay". These word show that you want to change the subjek.
The second step in ending a call is reviewing the actions you've discussed.
There are many ways to say goodbye in English. You can wish some want a
"greatday" or a "good weekend" , or a "good luck" with somethings. And we often
say "take care " or mention went we'll talk again/
