What is AEROBIC FITNESS?


The term aerobic actually means "with oxygen," which means that the
amount of oxygen that can make it to the muscles to help them burn fuel and
move is controlled by breathing. Aerobic fitness is also known as
“cardio-“exercise on gym lingo. It is an activity that you can do for more than
just a few minutes while your heart, lungs, and muscles are working overtime.
Pumping of oxygenated blood from the heart to deliver oxygen to working
muscles is a requirement for this type of fitness. Engaging to this activity will
help to stimulate the heart rate and breathing rate to increase which can be
sustained for the exercise session.
Benefits of Aerobic Fitness

Aerobic is known for its capacity to improve fitness. Aside from this fact, this type of
exercise is known for its physical and emotional health benefits. Experts
recommend having at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderate aerobic fitness or
1 hour and 15 minutes of vigorous exercise every week.
