authority and prestige ,who makes a valuable contribution in
the social-political, cultural-scientific field,etc.
• For a man to succeed in inventing something he must be
patient and diligent because fame is gained through work
• Throughout human history there have been different people
who have influence our civilization one of them is Thomas
Edison who invented the light bulb, phonograph, etc

• Thomas Edison was born on February 11,1847 in a middle-


class family from Milano,Ohio.
• In his early life he was taught how to be a telegraph operator
and this arouse his interest in electronics and invention.
• In 1866 he developen a
carbon microphone to
be used in telephones .
• Edison died in October
1931 due to diabetes.
THE ROLE OF THE INVENTION FOR
HUMAN CULTURE
• Thomas Edison’s inventions play an important role in our
life.He was the one who invented the phonograph and the
light-bulb withouth him we cannot imagine our day-to-day
lives. Edison's inventions have helped to alleviate the
human age we can easily talk to relatives who are
abroad, in each house we find at least five light bulbs
that illuminate the room.
• The most interesting part is that edison didn’t graduate even
the 4th grade.After 3rd semester the teacher sent him home with
a note:’’your child is so stupid that I wouldn’t let him even
feed the sheep.
