AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES

SO +POSITIVE VERB +SUBJECT


Examples: to BE
 Peter is from Smolyan. Ivan is from Smolyan, too
- So is Ivan. (И Иван също)
 The red books are new. The blue books are new,
too.
- So are the blue books. (И сините книги също)
 Maria is in the classroom. I am in the classroom,
too.
- So am I. (И аз също.)
Examples: present continuous
 Maria is reading a book. Ivan is reading a book,
too.
- So is Ivan. (И Иван също.)
 I am studying now. My friends are studying, too.
- So are my friends. (И моите приятели също)
Examples: CAN
 Maria can swim. I can swim, too
- So can I.
 We can dance well. They can dance well, too

 Maria has got an English textbook. I have got an
