Market day
Markets in Indonesia are very colourful and crowded places. The vendors arrive
early in the morning to set up their goods. Banana leaves are used on trays to
display different foods. Women usually sell a range of fresh foods such as chillis,
onions, fruit, rice, spices, dried fish, rice cakes, flowers or even freshly cooked
foods. Men usually sell live chickens, ducks, goats, pigs or tools. Everywhere in
the market, drinks and snack foods can be bought.

Candi Borobudur
Borobudur temple is one of the seven wonders of the world as it is the largest
Buddhist temple and was built in around 800AD. As Islam spread through Java
the temple was forgotten and became overgrown with vines however a Dutch
historian found records of the site which he found and began the tremendous
task of uncovering it.
