I Proud To Be an Indonesian

My name is Della Mariam Yolanda. From childhood I was born and raised in
Indonesia until now. Although Indonesia is a country that has many problems, but I am proud
to be an Indonesian because Indonesia is a beautiful country. Indonesia has a myriad of
beauty, such as natural beauty and culture.
The culture that is owned by Indonesia is very diverse. The many and beautiful
traditional dances, the melodious songs and musical instruments of the region, the diversity
of traditional weapons, the luxurious clothes and traditional houses, the abundant local
language, and many other cultures in Indonesia. The natural beauty of Indonesia is also very
extraordinary, such as the beauty of the underwater (coral reef), the beauty of mangrove
forests, and the beauty of existing tropical forests.
The diversity of animals and plants is very much, any animals and plants are found in
Indonesia. There is a phrase in the song that reveals it "People say our land, the holy land.
Wooden sticks and stones become plants." It is true, any plant can grow in Indonesia.
Indonesia's strategic location makes Indonesia's land so fertile, even not only land but in the
Indonesian sea lives a variety of marine life and coral reefs.
Fertility in the sea is influenced by the location of Indonesia which is crossed by
world currents, so that organic material from various seas in the world stops in Indonesia.
Apart from the above, Indonesia also has many traditional foods that are characteristic.
Indonesian specialties have entered the most delicious foods in the world, such as rendang,
fried rice, satai, and others. It is not uncommon for tourists from foreign countries who like
and are addicted to eating typical Indonesian food because of its good taste, strong spices and
many spices, as well as the unique shape or method of manufacture.
People in Indonesia are very welcoming at all. This is evidenced by the impression of
the message conveyed by foreign tourists who have visited Indonesia, many of them say that
people in Indonesia are very friendly. Coupled with the mutual cooperation culture that still
grows in Indonesia, that might be a differentiator from an invisible state.
Everything that is owned by Indonesia is the characteristic of Indonesia and certainly
makes me proud to be an Indonesian. And I am very grateful to be able to live in a country
that is very much blessed by God. Whatever I want can be in Indonesia, and diverse cultures
make me more proud of Indonesia.
