OFFICE 365
SIGN IN USING YOUR USER ID AND PASSWORD
User ID – firstname.lastname@students.cobbk12.org
Password – same as you use to get on the computer at school.

If you are unsure of your User ID, go to your StudentVue account and look under “Account
Information” to see it.

There are two different versions of the program – the web-based Office 365 and your computer-based Microsoft Office.
You have 5 free downloads of the computer-based program you can use anywhere. Once you login look at the top right,
click “Install Office” and follow the directions.

There are more options on the computer-based program and you can control auto-save better. The web-based programs
will auto-save your work! You will lose the original version.
ONE DRIVE

THIS IS YOUR STUDENT FOLDER IN “THE CLOUD”. IT IS WHERE YOU CAN SAVE ALL YOUR SCHOOLWORK. YOU CAN UPLOAD IT
FROM YOUR DESKTOP OR SAVE IT FROM THE WEB-BASED PROGRAM. YOU CAN SAVE ANY TYPE OF FILE. PLEASE MAKE A FILE
FOLDER FOR EACH SUBJECT AND REMEMBER TO NAME YOUR FILES.

1) Open Microsoft Office 365 or type the following URL into a web browser:
https://office365.cobbk12.org/
EMAIL
2) Click on Outlook.
3) E-mail sent to you will appear here.

4) In Outlook, click on New Message.
5) Fill in the following fields to create your email.

Note the following about student email.


• Students and Staff can send to each other within a school.
• Students can receive only approved internet. Emails that are placed on our email exceptions list.
• Students cannot e-mail other students.
• All student email accounts follow the same rules above.

Unable to login School or CCC School media specialist resets student password OR teacher submits ticket to reset student password.
Textbook issue School School LRA attempts to resolve issue. If unable to resolve, contact Customer Care.
Assessment issue School Teacher attempts to troubleshoot with student. If unable to resolve, submit ticket to Customer Care.
Grade incorrect School Teacher attempts to troubleshoot with student. If unable to resolve, submit ticket to Customer Care.
Digital session issue School Teacher attempts to troubleshoot with student. If unable to resolve, submit ticket to Customer Care.
Class does not populate under
"My Classes" School Teacher confirms student is included in "My Classrooms" course roster. If student is included, contact Customer Care.
General problems TTIS Consult 'Step through guide'
Student Device: Hardware or Teacher performs basic troubleshooting (confirms connectivity or functionality of software if capable). Teacher contacts Customer
Software problems Teacher Care Center via phone or Web Help Ticket.
ASSIGNMENTS IN CTLS
THESE DIRECTIONS EXPLAIN HOW STUDENTS CAN VIEW AND SUBMIT/TURN IN ASSIGNMENTS FROM THEIR
TEACHER(S) IN CTLS DIGITAL SESSIONS.

1.AFTER OPENING A DIGITAL SESSION, CLICK THE LESSON ASSIGNMENTS TAB AT THE TOP OF THE DIGITAL SESSION.
2.CLICK AN ASSIGNMENT TILE.

NOTE: GREEN MEANS THAT THE ASSIGNMENT HAS BEEN ASSIGNED. RED MEANS THAT THE DUE DATE HAS
PASSED.
3. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND
VIEW ATTACHMENTS, IF PROVIDED,
FROM YOUR TEACHER(S) IN THE
INSTRUCTIONS/ATTACHMENTS
SECTION.
4. ENTER YOUR RESPONSE BY CLICKING ON THE ADD/EDIT RESPONSE BUTTON IN THE MY
RESPONSE/ATTACHMENTS SECTION.
5. ENTER YOUR RESPONSE IN THE ADD RESPONSE BOX. CLICK SAVE WHEN FINISHED.
6. IF REQUIRED, CLICK THE ADD ATTACHMENT BUTTON, TO ADD ATTACHMENTS TO THIS
ASSIGNMENT.
7. CLICK THE FILE BOX. 8. NAVIGATE TO THE FILE THAT YOU WANT TO
UPLOAD.

9. CLICK OPEN.
10. After your file appears in the file field box, edit the
title of the file or provide a title that your
teacher(s) will see.

12. Click the Submit Response button to submit/turn in your


assignment.

11. Click the Save & Upload button.
