• Light in the Moon is merely a Reflection

• The Qur’an testifies the above fact:

• “Blessed is the One Who placed the constellations in heaven and placed in it a lamp (SIRAJ) and a
moon, giving light (MUNIIRA)”. (25:61)
 
Here the moon is defined as a body that gives reflection of light (Muniira), while the sun is compared to a
blazing lamp or torch (Siraj)

We have already sent Our
messengers with clear And who sends down rain
evidences & sent down with from the sky in measured Does man think that
them the Scripture & the amounts, and We revive We will not assemble
balance that the people may thereby a dead land - thus his bones? (3) Yes. [We
maintain [their affairs] in will you be brought forth! are] Able [even] to
justice. And We sent down iron,
wherein is great military might proportion his
& benefits for the people, & so fingertips. (4)
that Allah may make evident
those who support Him & His
messengers unseen. Indeed,
Allah is Powerful & Exalted in
Might.

Surah Al Hadeed, Ayah 25

We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences & sent down with them the Scripture &
the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein
is great military might & benefits for the people, & so that Allah may make evident those who
support Him & His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful & Exalted in Might.  

Origin of Iron
Iron is not natural to the earth.  It did not form on the earth but came down to earth from outer
space.  This may sound strange but it’s true.  Scientists have found that billions of years ago the
earth was stuck by meteorites.  These meteorites were carrying Iron from distant stars which had
exploded.

The above mentioned ayah says the following on the origin of Iron:
“We sent down Iron with its great inherent strength and its many benefits for humankind.

And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby

Every second, 16 million tons of water evaporates from the Earth,

which means the same amount must be replaced by means of rain.
Allah‫تــــلاــى‬
‫عـ‬ ‫ سـبحانـهـ و‬maintains this balance by the process of the water
cycle. Even a minor difference can result in a major ecological
imbalance! And who sends down rain from the sky in measured
amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land…” [43:11]
