PENDAHULUAN
A. Latar Belakang
Biomolekul termasuk unsur kimia yang mempelajari proses kimia yang terjadi didalam zat hidup. Senyawa-
senyawa biomolekul biasanya di kenal dalam empat bentuk antara lain, protein, asam nukleat, karbohidrat dan lipid.
Protein melakukan paling banyak pekerjaan di dalam sel. Protein termasuk polimer dari asam amino. Semua
organisme menggunakan 20 asam amino yang sama sebagai unit pembangun suatu molekul protein. Telur termasuk
salah satu sumber protein hewani yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh, dan mengandung asam amino esensial yang lengkap.
Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka dilakukan percobaan makromolekul protein.
B. Rumusan Masalah
Rumusan Masalah pada percobaan ini yaitu bagaimana cara mengetahui uji senyawa makromolekul (protein) ?
C. Tujuan Percobaan
Tujuan percobaan pada praktikum ini yaitu untuk mengetahui uji senyawa makromolekul protein.
