Introduction
The Aadhaar card is a vital document in India, providing a unique identification number for various
purposes. While a full online application isn't available, this guide simplifies the process by utilizing
online resources from the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India).
Steps
1. Pre-Register Online:
• Go to https://uidai.gov.in/
• Select your language.
• Look for the "Get Aadhaar" section and open it.
• You will get many options . You have to select Book Appointment (It is MANDATORY to
visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Center for biometric capture and document verification)
You can choose any location but - Book an Appointment at Registrar run Aadhaar Seva
kendra has more centres so its better to choose this
• Go to New enrolment
4. Book Appointment
• Click Book appointment and search Enrolment centre and Book appointment
• While a physical Aadhaar card will be mailed, you can download a soft copy from the UIDAI
website [UIDAI Download Aadhaar] once it's ready. You'll need your Enrolment ID or
Aadhaar number for this.
• Go to STEP 1 (Point 4)
