1. Content of the
response
CONTENT SCORES refer to what is seen. Content describes the
associations of the subject as he perceives the blot material and fits
names to what he sees. There is a limitless number of categories for
content scores.
Card V - Head of a man with a large nose, mustache and beard (D1).He has curly hair
and mustache.
Card Ill - Lower portion of 18th century gentleman (D5). Knee breeches, tight hose, and
fancy high heel shoes.
A. The human

signifies that the human figure seen is not real, either in the sense that a mythological
(h) figure or a caricature of a human figure was perceived.
Card IX - Witches (D1), Tall pointed hats and loose gowns, Their hands are stretched out, doing
evil.
Card I – Santa Claus with a tree under his arm (D2), Pointed hat, bulky clothes, Christmas tree
under his arm.
Card VIll – Evil ghost head (D3), Ghost head looming out.
Card VII- A shaggy Scotch terrier (D4) Sniffing something, ears up and tall out, shaggy
fur.

Card VII - This looks like the female genital and the dark shading here makes it seem
like hair (d1).

since they fall between the two extremes of frequency.

Popular (P) implies
Card l – (to whole area) Any winged creature with body in center and wings at the sides,
seen in action or stationary.
Scoring: W or /W F or FM A P
Card II – (to black area). Any whole animal or part of an animal. The animal should be of the
type with a large head and thick neck. Often the texture quality of the skin is used

Card Ill - (to black area). Two human beings, or animals dressed as humans, with legs seen
in side bottom areas. The figures must be seen in action.

Card lII – (center red area) Bow tie or hair ribbon or butterfly. The color may or may not be used.

Card VI – (to entire card with or without top extension or to entire lower half). Skin of an animal
which uses the shading qualities of the blot.

Card VIII- (to outer red area) Almost any four legged animal given to the pink side area. The
animal must be seen in action

light green area between the dark green areas at bottom. If dark green areas are also used,
