Collectivism
 both side decided to divorce for the better, depending on their status of

strong, interdependent ties. these aspects of collectivism exert a balancing
pressure on the choice of the partner and the quality of the relationship

 In some, they won’t agree, because of their family. Thinking the future for their
children. Growing up with incomplete family can be very hard for a child.

COLLECTIVISM
1. Collectivism people are more likely to “see themselves as connected to others,
define themselves in terms of relationships with others, and see their
characteristics as more likely to change across different contexts.
2. In a collectivistic culture, the focus is on the belief that the group is more
important than an individual.

 These educates us that collectivists people can agree on divorce/house bill for the
sake of their group/family. To avoid toxicity and trouble in the family and
relationship.

INDIVIDUALISM
1. Individualistic cultures view individuals as independent and able to succeed by
themselves.

2. Have his/her own goal only for him/herself.

 These gives us information that individualism or individualists persons can also


agree to divorce bill because they have decided to leave and be independent so
they can achieve their goals for their selves and not rely on others.
