OBJECTIVE

• To create a site where we can store all the things that we found interesting on
the internet from a learning perspective.
• To create an application where our learning side can be tracked and shared.
NEED

• In the same way as we use social media apps like facebook, whatsapp to
track our social and personal life, it would be of immense help if we can have
an app that we can use to measure our learning side.
• Such a site can provide a direct indication of our learning progress, what we
are learning or are interested in now or how much is the time we are
spending on it.
TECH STACK

• We are using node.js as we believe that Javascript is the perfect language to

write beckend and frontend code
• For database we will be using Mysql.
• Authentication will be taken care using passport.js
• Frontend features are implemented using bootstrap
BACKEND ARCHITECTURE (REST API)
DESIGN AND FEATURES

• The site is protected with authentication.

• All the pages can be shared to others without any data mismanagement.
• The user articles are grouped together on the basis of their uploading
time(same week)
• Genre or categories can be added to all the links
SCOPE OF IMPROVEMENT

• We can implement a goal feature on the amount of learning that we need to

achieve in the coming week or month.
• We can use charts or third party libraries that can tell us statistically about how
much time we are spending on different categories and on what level we are in that
topic.
• Through this we will have a lot of data about ourselves which through the use of
third party libraries can be used to assign rank or points according to our progress.
RESULT
• The site showed above is of one in a development stage.
• Here users can create, read, update or delete their data/links
• As we can see the articles are grouped together for better viewing experience.
• Genre feature will be added in the next version.
