ASSIGNMENT #1

VERBAL CUE?
Cues are prompts that people use to indicate that they expect a response or reaction when
it comes to communication. Speakers constantly use nonverbal cues such as body
language and tone, but they may also deliver cues verbally.
 A verbal cue is a prompt communicated through spoken language from one
person toanother or a group of people. If you were listening to a lecture, for
example, the instructor might say something like, 'Does anyone know why this
happened?' The instructor isobviously looking for one or more people to respond t
o the question with an answer in his case.
