Localization of video

games

Unfortunately I often play with dubbing. Because I'm
used to playing that way. But no matter what I think
the original voice of actors is cleaner and fits the
character better. For example one of my favorite
video game developers Rockstar games never in
their games used a work of localization.
Now I want to show what I mean by fitting to video game character, by a
short but very telling example. In the last Rockstar games game Red Dead
Redemption 2 we play as an outlaw who lives in 1889 in the Wild West. And
in that time people had an accent that has now changed, and if this game
have a localization the player will lose some of the atmosphere

Now I want to talk about
Levels of localization:
1) Box Localization
only the text from the box is translated
2) Interface localization
The implication is that the game will translate not only the description and the
box, but also the interface, the help page, the names of the buttons - and
that's it.
3) Text localisation
All texts in the game are translated.
4) Localisation with voiceover
Speech and dialogs are translated and voiced by Russian
actors.
(Keanu Reeves is the Original voice for Johnny Silverhand,
and Ilya Blednyiy is the Russian voice for this character in
the Cyberpunk 2077 game
5) Graphic localisation
Any game is some kind of engine, design, graphical objects,
textures - everything that is not text. Let's say a fence
inscription in a shooter. Graphic localisation means that all
inscriptions inside must be translated. It could be
newspapers, shop signs, some kind of notes and so on.
