Job Satisfaction

Job satisfaction relates to the total relationship between an


individual and the employer for which he is paid. Satisfaction
means the simple feeling of attainment of any goal or objective.
Job dissatisfaction brings an absence of motivation at work.
Overview of Respondents

We have targeted white-collar employees of the manufacturing sector


since the labor class does not have accessibility to smartphones or
the internet or is not very familiar with the technology.
Experience in Months
A major part of our respondents had work
experience under 18 months

Geographical Location

We sent the survey form to our contacts across


the country however, the maximum respondents
were from Maharashtra (Pune, Mumbai, Navi
Mumbai and Nagpur)
Training undergone prior to joining the
organization

Maximum respondents feel that they had


undergone training before operating any
machinery.
Communication of operating instructions

Maximum respondents feel that they had given


enough information about operating procedures.
Safety Gear

Most of the respondents feel safe while working in


the factory as they were provided with adequate
safety equipments.
Reward

On an average respondents feel neutral about their


rewards but maximum respondents are partially
satisfied.
Meeting the
expectations

Respondents expected more out of their jobs.


Work
environment

On an average respondents are mostly satisfied with


the work environment provided. Including their safety
at work and healthy peer relations.
Relationship with peers.

More than half of the respondents share healthy


relation with the peers.
Use the latest technology for production.

Maximum respondents agreed that their firm is using


the latest available technology.
Necessary support if there is breakdown in
machinery.

Respondents on a whole have a feeling of


being supported at work.
Growth Opportunities

On an average respondents are neutral about their


career growth and development
but maximum feel their career is enhanced.
Job security during the
pandemic

During pandemic maximum respondents


had the assurance of their job security.
Financial support during Covid 19 lockdown

Respondents were given help during the pandemic


times (Financial Aid).
Conclusion

While comparing all the factors, we observed that most of the respondents are satisfied
with their jobs, however, many are less/ unsatisfied concerning a few factors which brings
the average satisfaction level down to moderate.
