People bake buns and paint eggs. They go
to the church and thank the God. On this day a
bunny brings chocolate eggs.
EASTER
Children go to the neighbouring houses and
say “trick or treat”. People give them sweets.
The scariest day of the year.
HALLOWEEN
We have a meeting on this day. People
honor the memory of the soldiers. They go to
the monument of Unknown Soldier and put
flowers.
VICTORY DAY
On this day men prepares presents for their
women. Children say about their love to the
moms. It is a holiday of spring and a woman.
We don’t go to bed early on this day. We
wait till a clock strikes 12. We have a tree in a
house and wait for present from an old man.
Family gets together and thanks the God on
this day. The traditional dish is a turkey. It is an
American Holiday.
Ukrainian people celebrate the holiday in
summer. They have meetings, much funs and
fireworks. It is a day of the country.
People celebrate the Christ’s birthday on
this day. They sing carols. All the family gets
together and has a traditional dinner.
