INDUSTRY
 The term industry is sometimes used to describe
a very precise business activity (e.g.
semiconductors) or a more generic business
activity (e.g. consumer durables). If a company
participates in multiple business activities, it is
usually considered to be in the industry in which
most of its revenues are derived.
 PRIMARY
This involves the extraction of resources directly
from the Earth, this includes farming, mining and
logging. They do not process the products at all.
They send it off to factories to make a profit.
 SECONDARY
This group is involved in the processing products
from primary industries. This includes all factories—
those that refine metals, produce furniture, or pack
farm products such as meat.
 TERTIARY
This group is involved in the provision of
services. They include teachers, managers and
other service providers.
 QUATERNARY
This group is involved in the research of science
and technology. They include scientists.
 Manufacturing refers to those industries which
involve in the manufacturing and processing of
items and indulge in either creation of new
commodities or in value addition.
 The final products can either serve as a finished
good for sale to customers or as intermediate
goods used in the production process
Industry technology encompasses operation, managing
and maintaining technological processes related to
processes concerning various industries. Industry
technology plays an important role in the economy of a
country and contributes towards the GDP or the gross
domestic product of a co-facilitate the growth.
