 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

• Importance of anti-bacterial soap in daily use.

• Components of garlic that kills bacteria, viruses,
protozoa, and fungi.
• Effectiveness of Garlic as main ingredients in an
anti-bacterial soap.
 The main anti-bacterial compound of fresh garlic is
allicin, a thiosulfinate with two allyl groups as
carbon chains (diallylthiosulfinate). Besides
bacteria, the effects of allicin have been
investigated against fungi, protozoa and viruses.
(Leontiev, R., Hohaus, N., Jacob, C. et al., 2018).

• The total average result of respondent’s answer in the

survey questionnaire is 2.96 which is interpreted as agree.
• The result from the information gathered, the senior high
school students ranging 17-21 years old have agreed that
garlic is efficient main ingredient of anti-bacterial soap.
• Based on the data gathered, the researchers found out that
senior highschool students concur that garlic is efficient,
effective bacteria killer, and affordable main ingredient in
making soap

Future researchers may use this study as a reference or
basis for related studies, make an innovation and
improvement about this garlic as the main ingredients of an
anti-bacterial soap
 
The community will be encouraged to make their own
antibacterial soap that is affordable, highly -effective, and
environment friendly.
 

RECOMMENDATION

Teachers may use this study as a sample or guide for the future
 
researches. In addition, teachers may share this new knowledge
and ideas to their students for future academic purposes.
 
Students will have prior knowledge about the effectiveness and
usability of garlic as an antibacterial.
 
The soap manufacturer may use this research as their basis to
improve and innovate their product.
