General information

 Mexico is a country in the southern portion of North America.

 It is bordered to the north by the United States; to the south and west
by the Pacific Ocean; to the southeast by Guatemala, Belize, and
the Caribbean Sea; and to the east by the Gulf of Mexico.
 Mexico covers approximately 2.000.000 square kilometers where are
126,014,024 inhabitants and it’s the 10th most populous country and
has the most Spanish speakers.
The capital of Mexico

 Mexico City is the largest city of Mexico as well as the most

populous city in North America.
 Mexico's capital is both the oldest capital city in the Americas and
one of two founded by indigenous people.
 The city was originally built on a group of islands in Lake
Texcoco by the Mexica  in 1325 as Tenochtitlan. It was almost
completely destroyed in the 1521 Siege of Tenochtitlan and
subsequently redesigned and rebuilt in accordance with
the Spanish urban standards.

of Hidalgo, located in the Magical Town of Mineral del Chico, here the forest and its
great mountains will give you the opportunity to be surrounded by the best natural
spectacles. You can do ecotourism activities such as
mountain climbing, hiking, rappelling and enjoy a family environment.
 Cascadas de Granada – Guerrero
There is another incredible and huge place to camp in the Cascadas de Granada, a
colorful ecotourism area, full of life in the beautiful state of Guerrero.
Mexican Taco

 A Taco is a traditional Mexican dish consisting of a small hand-sized corn topped with
a filling.
 The tortilla is then folded around the filling and eaten by hand. A taco can be made
with a variety of fillings, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, beans, vegetables, and
cheese, allowing for great versatility and variety. They are often garnished with various
condiments, such as salsa, guacamole, or sour cream, and vegetables, such as lettuce,
onion, tomatoes, and chiles.
 Tacos are a common form of antojitos, or Mexican street food, which have spread
around the world.
The Jalapeño

 The jalapeño is a medium-sized chile pepper. A mature jalapeño chile is 5–

10 cm (2–4 in) long and hangs down with a round, firm, smooth flesh.
 Commonly picked and consumed while still green, it is occasionally allowed to
fully ripen and turn red, orange, or yellow. It is wider and generally milder than
the similar Serrano pepper.
 The jalapeño was traditionally cultivated in Mexico, Veracruz.
 A raw jalapeño is 92% water, 6% carbohydrates, 1% protein, and contains
negligible fat. A 100-gram reference serving of raw jalapeños provides 29 kcal
of food energy, and is a rich source of vitamin C, vitamin B6, and vitamin E,
with vitamin K in a moderate amount.
