Introduction

Capital punishment , also known as death penalty is the most serious

punishment society can impose on someone for committing one or
various fatal crimes.capital offences, or capital felonies, and vary
depending on the jurisdiction, but commonly include serious crimes
against the person such as murder, mass murder, terrorism, aircraft
hijacking, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide, along
with crimes against the state and many more crimes include death
penalty. My opinion are based on personal , religious and psychological
point of view.
Body Part
From my personal point of view , crimes which are really brutal
reffering to murder, war crimes and so on must be brought under death
penalty. The death penalty is sometimes justified because the majority
of respondents supports it in the abstract. The Supreme Court, in
attempting to determine whether a punishment is cruel and unusual,
asks whether the punishment comports with society’s “evolving
standards of decency. As the crime situation is getting worse day by day
measures should be taken from the root and offenders must be
chasten. If the lawbreakers are free they will kreck havoc in the
society. However , the modern laws are really strict about those
evildoers.
From religious point of view , The major world religions have taken varied
positions on the morality of capital punishment and as such, they have
historically impacted the way in which governments handle such
punishment practices.Although the viewpoints of some religions have
changed over time, their influence on capital punishment generally
depends on the existence of a religious moral ethical code and how closely
religion influences the government. The world's major faiths have differing
sights depending on the religion, denomination, and the individual
adherent. As an example, the world's largest Christian denomination,
Catholicism, opposes capital punishment in all cases. However, Islamic
faiths support capital punishment.
From a psychological point of view , a criminal might have reasons for
doing his/her crimes and the purposes for committing a crime mostly
include greed, anger, jealously, revenge, or pride.Victims of crime may
have strong emotional or physical reactions after the crime which leads
to the reactions people have after a crime depend on the person, the
crime, and many other factors.Consequently , the ruthless crimes can
not be pardoned.
Conclusion
The process of learning to behave in a way that is acceptable to society
is very impoprtant. But sometimes this code is broken and Crimes occur.
It can not be lessened unless disciplined meausers are taken.Capital
punishment is one of them and we must not be ignorant about
it.Finally , there is no doubt that capital punishment must be formed in
order to have an exemplary society.
