ETHICS

Ethics is defined as the study of right and wrong


behaviours and what defines right and wrong.
It is a a normative field i.e. it deals with how should
we do things.
Ethics is broadly divide into three sub
categories.
Meta ethics,Normative ethics and
Descriptive ethics.
Meta ethics- It is defined as the study of
the epistemic aspect of ethics.
Normative ethics- It is where normative
theories about morality are created and
studied.
There are 3 main types of normative
theories of ethics.
The first one is deontological theories
which says every right and wrong
actions depends whether a rule is
followed or not.
The second one is value theory which
says right or wrong depends on a
persons character
The third one is called
consequentialism which states that
right or wrong depends on
consequences
