I was wrong about perfection.

To simply state I describe perfection as the end of mastery or the endpoint of anything you want to
master and I am happy to say that is not the end of it. I guess this is the point of this essay that
perfection is not what you know really. Greatness is not achieved through perfection and people
confuse perfection with mastery. Perfection is a standard and mastery is a process of learning a skill
over a span of time. (What is perfection?) A bad question or it is better to ask what the word perfection
actually used in human communication and this is a better question. A perfected skill I would say is
inferior to a skill which is in “continuously evolution”and which keeps going beyond the perfection
which you once had.
A perfect god is imperfect against a evolving master and here is the truth I shall reveal upon
all of you “Perfection is a moment of mastery while mastery is a continuous process” and I am happy to
know this truth. Lets start conceptualizing perfection.
What do I mean by that quote I said just now? The normative standard we set for ourselves to achieve
perfection as an end goal and lets just say even if you achieve them then what lies beyond that
perfection is the endless road of mastery you have to walk beyond the point you have reached. It is a
petty thing to think that who has won the highest number would be better than the man who have
struggled enough many defeats. Sure if a man wins at something then he is getting better but people
forget the entire process it takes to reach that and what lies beyond the winning itself.
There is much more than perfection than I originally thought. If perfection is an end point in a journey
then mastery is the whole journey itself and that is what is the problem with reaching perfection. You
can reach perfection but you can never reach true mastery because there is no end point of mastery.
You will reach a high state of perfection in your journey which is a part of journey but the whole
journey is endless.
The word perfect normally means is “do complete” and if add ion then then word perfection in context
of mastery means the “act of completing something” which as I said it is a continuous process and that
is why the state of perfection in context of mastery is incomplete. It is a paradox but it is a truth which
few people know of and I am one of them.
What about those humans that have reached the highest state of perfection in different things like
chess, sports, writing, music and much more. Even them have to keep going the best real example of this
and I will show you why.
