The material used and its form shows complexity and contradiction to the whole building.

Postmodern buildings had curved forms, decorative elements,

asymmetry, bright colours, and features often borrowed from
earlier periods. Colours and textures were unrelated to the
structure or function of the building. Hence the Royal Hayat
building show postmodernism in its look.

thE glass panels used in the building shows Patterns which created a mesmerizing
a b s t r a c t images with strong visual appeal. Shapes, lines, color and co nt rast
a l l contribute toward creating repetitive and eye-catching patterns.

The c h a r a c t e r of a building depends upon its capacity to express a p a r t i cu l a r

function and status. Characters in architecture is comparable with the attributes
of an individual. If a building is designed in the proper spirit, personal characteristics
such as grace, dignity and v it a lit y can be expressed as an integral p a r t of the
structure. as the internal function doesnt show in r o y a l hayat's e x te r n a l look , it
has its own character, t h a t is personal character.

Water Supply System

MEW will supply water and feed to B2- 2 Transfer Tank (13,000 us gal total), using pumps will deliver to 4 main
tank (50,000 us gal each). 2 tanks feeding to domestic water supply and 2 tanks feeding to HVAC ,treated with
UV filtration system
 ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Electrical system - M EW supply electrical power to 5 transformer and feed to the M ain Electrical
Switch Board panels then distribute in each floor (Electrical Room) where Electrical Distribution
Switches feed to lightings and power outlets.

Incase M EW power outage 2 generator (1600KVa) supply the entire hospital. 1st
generator feeding to B2-3F and 2nd Generator feeding to 4F-Roof floor to 6th floor

building
LED Lights were used for ceiling lights, wall lights,
flooring lights here in Royale Hayat which helps reducing
the usage of electricity.

These LED lights especially energy star rated products use

at least 75% less energy, and lasts 25 times longer,
than incandescent lighting.

Automatic climate control Air-conditioners with built-

in Thermostat, which detects and monitors current
temperature and pumps out cool air until desired
temperature is reached.
