Objective
 The main objective of this project is to implement the learned
technologies i.e. HTML,CSS and JavaScript along with usage of
GitHub.
 This project shows how these technologies can be integrated
together to provide a significant output.
Introduction
• The Email spam filter is created using HTML,CSS and
JavaScript. In this Filter, spam filters assign a spam score. This
score determines if an email will pass through the filter or not.

Literature Review
• Spam, in a nutshell, is an unsolicited message to one or more
recipients, usually with the intent to sell something. In itself,
spam isn’t necessarily a threat to anyone, only an annoyance.
However, the threat comes when senders send recipients spam
mail containing links with viruses or attempting to scam its victim
out of their hard-earned cash.
• In extension of the background history,this project provides a
good graphical user interface and displays the high score too.

Technology Description
 HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language
 HTML is the standard markup language for creating Web pages
 HTML describes the structure of a Web page
 HTML consists of a series of elements
 HTML elements tell the browser how to display the content
 HTML elements label pieces of content such as "this is a
heading", "this is a paragraph", "this is a link", etc.

 CSS describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on

 CSS saves a lot of work. It can control the layout of multiple

images, and pretty much everything else.
• JavaScript is a cross-platform, object-oriented scripting language
