writing.

Brainstorming

A way to associate ideas and stimulate thinking.

Start with a word or phrase

Set a period of time

Let your thoughts go in whatever direction they will

Write a list of ideas as quickly as possible

When the time is up, look over what you have listed for grouping

More creative way of making associations

Begin with a topic circled in the middle of a sheet of paper.

Draw a line out from that circle and write an idea associated with the
topic.

Continue to map or cluster until you cannot think of any more ideas.
