Joshua 1:10-11 msg

Then Joshua gave orders to the people’s leaders:

“Go through the camp and give this order to the
people: “PACK YOUR BAGS”. In three days you
will cross this Jordan river to enter and take the land
God, your God, is giving you to possess.”
Wrong Decisions in life:

1. LET GO AND MOVE FORWARD

Joshua 1:1-2
After the death of Moses the servant of God,
God spoke to Joshua, Moses assistant: Moses
my servant is dead. GET GOING. Cross the
country I’m giving to people of Israel.

2. Hold on to God’s Promises

Joshua 1:3-5
I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I
PROMISE Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to
Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates-all the Hittite
country to the Mediterranean sea in the west. No one will be able to
stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so
I will be with you: I will never leave you nor forsake you.
“ We trust our hearts more than we
trust God when our hearts knows so
little about our life.”
 3. REST IN HIS
PRESENCE
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous:
Do not be afraid: do not be discourage, for the Lord
your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:6-9
Be strong and be courageous, because you will lead these people to
inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Be strong and
very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses
Gave you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left that you may
successful wherever you go. Keep this book of the law always on your
lips: meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do
everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous: Do not be
afraid: do not be discourage, for the Lord your God will be with you
wherever you go.
Pack your bags and
make right decisions!
1. Let Go and Move Forward.
2. Hold on to God’s Promises.
3. Rest in His Presence.
 John 16:33
“I have told all this so that you may have
peace in me. Here on earth you will have
many trials and sorrows. But take heart,
because I have overcome the world.”
