Starter:
• ‘VALUE OF MY NAME’
• Work out the value of your name in advance (A=1, B=2, C=3,…). Eg: My first
name, Eric, is
• 5-18-9-3. Start by telling the group that this number (5-18-9-3) somehow
represents the name of the teacher and ask for guesses about what it means.
• Teacher would say that these numbers represent her name. Once the group
figures out the trick, ask everyone to convert their name into numbers. Have
students write
• their numbers on chat and see if everyone in the class can convert
• them back into names. Thus looking at the chat box students should guess
each others’ name.

Tasks:
• Group 1:
• Create a collage of five pictures or images that best describe
you. These can be pictures you have already taken or images
from other sources. You should also describe how the pictures
represent who they are.

• Group 2: ‘ALL ABOUT ME’ GAME
• 1. First, take a paper and write your name vertically down the left side.
• 2. Next, choose a word that starts with each letter of your name. The
word should describe something about you. Write those words
horizontally across the paper, using the letters of your name as the
first letter of each descriptive word.
• 3. After you have listed your words, draw an accompanying picture to
illustrate each.
• 4. When you are finished, post your ‘ALL ABOUT ME’ in the teams
chat.
Group 3
• Story of My Life.
• You have just been given a contract to write your autobiography for a major
publishing company.
• 1. First, take an A4 size paper and fold it in half and then in half again to
form a book. Choose the title of a popular song for the name of your book.
Write that title on the front cover.
• 2. On the inside of the front cover (page two), list a table of contents.
• 3.Name of the place where you were born. Your favourite pass time.
• 4. On page three, draw a picture of your family.
• 5. On the back cover of the book, draw a picture of what you plan to do in
future, Where will you go?
