Head-School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur visits School of Law, BMU Dr. Vijay Laxmi Pandit, Head-School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur came to the BMU campus on 10th August 2019 to address our Law Students on "Importance of Law in Our Lives". In this lecture, Dr. Pandit gave an overview of certain basic concepts of law and how law is an agent of social transformation. She cited examples of the Dowry Prohibition Act and the Child Marriage Restraint Act.

Gurgaon and Mr. Shafiq R. Khan founder of NGO - Empower People visit the School of Law, BMU Advocate Arun Shokeen, District Court Gurgaon and Mr. Shafiq R. Khan Founder of NGO - Empower People visited the School of Law, BMU on 23rd August 2019. They discussed various topics like Human Trafficking and Legal Aid. These discussions helped students to understand the impact of law and the difficulties encountered by the judges and social workers working at the grassroot level in India.

Penn State Law, USA visits School of Law, BMU Prof. Stephen Barnes, Penn State Law, USA visited BMU on 2nd September 2019 to address our Law Students about "Separation of Powers". He talked about the doctrine of checks & balances and immigration & class discrimination in the present world.

Teachers’ Day Students and Faculty members of the School of Law celebrated the Teachers’ Day with a lot of enthusiasm.
School of Law organises Book Fair on
Campus School of Law organised a Book Fair for the students on 13th September 2019. Thomson Reuters displayed a large variety of Law Textbooks as well as Acts for the benefit of the students. Through the publications, the students were also exposed to a variety of legislations and laws prevailing in India.
Students from School of Law
visit the Gurgaon Court Law students visited the Gurgaon Court on 21st September 2019 to have a real- life experience of Courts and the Judicial Procedure. The students witnessed a case on medical negligence and interacted with a public prosecutor and a judge of sessions court.
Students of School of Law
attend Moot Court sessions at Manipal University, Jaipur Law students visited Manipal University, Jaipur on 28th September to have a real- life experience of Moot Courts. They enjoyed being observers to the various Moot Court Competitions going on there, where judges from Supreme Court and High Court of Rajasthan were present.

addresses students on Nationalism, Religion and Law Dr. Sushil Chandra, School of Engineering and Technology, BMU addressed our School of Law students on the topic "Nationalism, Religion and Law" on 27th August 2019 and 3rd September 2019. Dr. Chandra spoke about how fascism takes the garb of nationalism to promote its own selfish ends. In these two lectures he laid emphasis on the rise of Nazi Germany and the will of nations to conquer other territories. Here he took the example of the Vietnam war. He summarised his talks by stating that aggressive nationalism is bad not only for the country but also for world peace.
