EFFECT OF BREAKER

CONCENTRATION ON RESIDUE
OF NATURAL POLYMER
Fluid recipe was done with various concentration of breaker loadings i.e 1l,2l and 3l of 20% APS solution at 35C.

Residue was measured after oven drying the filter papers were 1.474g/l 1.306g/l and 1.032g/l respectively.

It is evident that when the breaker concentration was doubled the residue reduced by approximately 11.4%

whereas when the breaker concentration tripled the residue decreased by approximately 30%
