ALU00815991 ISDN BA - Stable call preservation at SIGTRAN switchover
Implementation:
The recovery time, Tr implemented via the IUA timer defined in CDE profile
iua_param trafficmode minasp pendtime. Example: iua_param 1 1 4
Traffic mode: 1=over-ride (one active ASP), 2 =load-sharing (several
active ASPs), Default: 1
MinASP: Minimum number of active ASPs, Default: 1
PendTime: ASP maximum transition time from Inactive to active, Default:
4 seconds (Tr <= 5s)
If active ASP becomes inactive, start the recovery timer and buffer Q.931
messages. (ISDN terminations will not be put into OOS)
If one ASP becomes active before the Tr expires, send all the queued messages
to the active ASP
When ASP switch to AS-Down i.e. Tr expires, reset ISDN terminations and clear
the buffer
Unacknowledged/unsent packets by original SCTP association will not be
retrieved and resent by IUA
Requirement:
The ISAM-V SIP support of the feature External Path Forwarding on the POTS
line boards
EPF enable/disable mode is configurable per VLAN
IP@ of EPF router is configurable via CLI
This feature will be supported per the following ISAM-V SIP configurations:
NANT-A, Switched network topology
Shared VOICE VLAN (RTP and SIP) and distinct VLAN (EPF enabled on the
RTP VLAN, EPF has not to be enabled on SIP VLAN)

(voice) is forwarded to the EPF destination IP address
A single IP address can be configured as EPF destination IP address
EPF destination IP address must belong to a directly attached subnet (IP address
shall be of IP NEXT HOP)
CLI:
configure interface shub ip <vlan id> extfwd device-ip <x.x.x.x>
<vlan id> = Voice Vlan
<x.x.x.x> = external voice forwarding ip
Requirement:
NANT-E support for SIP L4 Voice
NANT-E feature parity with NANT-D for ISAM Voice in R42. SIP L4 voice forwarding
should be supported. Basic Call, Fax and modem calls can be supported with NANT-E
without external clock reference.
Implementation:
No additional SW development was done
Test-only feature
Requirement:
Parallel methods for supporting VoIP provisioning are required:
OMCIv1 proprietary method (R4.2)
OMCIv2 standardized method (R4.2.02)
TL1 and CLI support
SIP and Megaco support
