“Adjective -ed and -ing” to express Feelings
•Someone is interested because something is interesting.
- Tom is interested in politics.
- Tom finds politics interesting.

•Someone is surprised because someting is surprising.


- Everyone was surprised that he passed the
examination.
- It was quite surprising that he passed the
examination.

“Adjective-ed” are used to describe people’s feeling


“Adjective –ing” are used to describe the effect that someting has on people’s
feeling.
