Meaning -
It seems like a harmless thing to do until we get to the
end of the story where we’ll know the true purpose of
the stones, Tess Hutchison, is stoned to death by
friends and family.

The magi, or the three wise men, are another biblical
allusion.

Meaning -
According to Christian beliefs, the magi
visited Jesus after his birth, bringing these
gifts fit for a king

God said, “for in my garden of paradise this little bird
shall sing evermore, and in my city of gold the happy
prince shall praise me.”

Meaning -
God let's the bird and the happy prince enter his
kingdoms because both of them has a good
heart that is willing to help others.
