Waiter: Hello, I’ll be your waiter today. Can I start
you off with something to drink?

David: Yes. I’ll have a soda, please.

Sarah: And I’ll have lemonade.

Waiter: OK. Are you ready to order, or do you

need a few minutes?

David: I think we’re ready. I’ll have the tomato

soup to start, and the chicken pasta with onion and
soy sauce.

Waiter: How do you want the chicken — rare,

medium or well done?

David: Well done, please.

Sarah: And I’ll just have the Karri rice, with

chicken breast.
1. John: Waiter!

2. Waiter: Is everything all right, sir?

3. John: Not exactly. This steak is raw. I asked for it well done! And it
´s rather cold.

4. Waiter: I do apologise, sir. Would you like it cooked a little more?

5. John: Please.

6. Waiter: Would you like something else while you´re waiting?

7. John: No, thank you. Everything’s ok.
