• Most of the time, the knowledge from the
Institute is theoretical and it needs a practical

concept with a tangible practical demonstration.

experiences that have been under taken during
the two consecutive months.

1. Company Background
1.1.Brief History of ICT Business and Incubation
Center
• Our Hosting Company, ICT Business and Incubation
Center provide a service for people and
others based on information communication
Technology aspects. It plays great role by Making
the peoples’ life information and technology assisted.
As the workers description and our
investigation, the organization had established in 2002
E.C. as a unit for the first time.
 1.2.Objective of ICT BIC

To interlink the regional government institutions with each

other.
To create an economic community whose capacity of
making decision based on matured information and
knowledge.
With those objectives, the organization develops and partially
implements many values and principles to reach its
objectives listed above.
 give priority for customers' satisfaction
 import new technology to the organization
 develop systems to different organization in the region etc…

When it comes to customers we can classify into two main groups
1. insider companies
 which are companies those rent offices from the organization with two or three
computers, tables, chairs and internet connection for only two years, So currently
there are about eight insider companies with a year left from their deadline to exit.
2. outsider customers
 regional government, non-governmental
 organization, different private companies and most of all society.

2. Internship Experience
2.1.Objective of internship
The two month internship program consists of two objectives that
is general and specific objectives.
2.1.1. General objective
• The general objective of the two month internship is to see how
we can apply the theoretical knowledge that we get in our four
year learning experience, and practice our theoretical knowledge
In the working environment and see the working area and how
we can communicate
with all the workers and staff members and work coordinately with
other people and understanding the working ethics properly.
 2.1.2. Specific objective
 Creating interrelation and interdependence to the internship
organization.
 Developing communicational, cooperativeness and team-work
skills.
 Increase productivity of students.
 To acquire practical skill from the industry.
 Create a means to transfer knowledge and technology to the
industry.
2.2.Entering to the ICT Business and Incubation Center
• First, we get this chance by our own effort as our department
gives us chance to find place for two month training (internship).
We went to ICT Business and incubation center. Because, we
heard that was a good place for internship program.
 2.3.Work Section

As we described before, our host company have

different core processes. We have joined to system
development and administration core process.
2.4.Work Tasks
As we described before, we were working in system
development .In our internship period we
have done web based system. When we first join the
organization we choose project title by
ourselves. The Project is TB Management System.
 2.5.Major Challenges

• As we mentioned before the following are some of the

challenges during our internship program.
• In the first visit of the company, it is difficult to communicate
with the employees
• Lack of sufficient working place for practice 
• Lack of specialized man power for each practical specification of
tasks
•  
• Computers are not work well and they all are affected by virus.
•  
• There was no manual for working procedures.
2.6.Procedures I have been using while performing I work tasks

• To achieve my goal of internship I have been

following the best approach that leads me to
dedicated destination.
• Procedures I have been using during
my internship period in ICT BIC.
– Analyze each projects and works which is
assigned to our group
– Identifying the task am working on
• Customer collaboration over contract
negotaition.
2.7.How good I have been in performing my work tasks
 2.6. Counter Measure for those challenges

•  Wisely communicate with company advisors to assist the

working procedures.
 We trained our practice with schedule and our plan.
 Use our own laptop computer when the computers are
engaged by users.
 We asked the workers to know more about the commission.
 We installed the latest antivirus and regular scan the
computer.
 Maintain the corrupted computers to solve computer
number limitation.
