Our Mission
The Delta Gamma Foundation fosters lifetime enrichment for
members, promotes Service for Sight and partners with the
Fraternity to ensure the future of our sisterhood.

Time devoted to raising money for Delta Gamma
Foundation’s philanthropy, both the national
Foundation and local efforts.
Fundraising Opportunities
ç Fundraising is EARNING
ç Hold at least one event per term/semester (2/year)
ç Tax-deductible events (send $$ directly to DG Foundation)

Splash®/Anchor Games, rummage sales, silent auctions of
donated items
ç Non Tax-deductible – food events like DG Desserts, pancake
breakfasts, car washes, % night at restaurants

ç Pre-Planning Foundation Fundraising Event Form – populates at 6
weeks; RFNC approves at least 4 weeks prior
ç Aim to keep expenses <30% of event budget
ç Use memberplanet – only FN endorsed/approved online fundraising

ç Chapter Giving Program – can designate up to 50% to local 501(c)
(3) Service for Sight related organization

provide an opportunity to explore these qualities as they relate to
personal and professional development in today’s changing

Scholarships, Fellowships & Loans
Undergraduate Merit-Based Scholarships
ç Applicant must be in good standing
ç Awarded on a competitive basis to qualified, initiated members
pursuing undergraduate degrees
ç Must have 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA (on 4.0 scale)
ç Selection based on scholastic excellence, participation and leadership
roles in chapter, campus and community activities, and essays
ç Completing an application makes an applicant eligible for any
available undergraduate merit scholarship
ç Application process is handled using SmarterSelect online application
ç Applicants will have 30 days to complete the application
ç Applications will be live on January 1
Scholarships, Fellowships & Loans
Sisters Helping Sisters: Need-Based Scholarships
ç Applicant must be in good standing
ç Available throughout the fiscal year (July-June)
ç Applications accepted from current initiated, undergraduate members
ç Members must complete all forms and requirements to be eligible
ç Recipients granted $2,500 which is paid directly to the college or
university for credit to her account for educational purposes only
ç Funds may not be used for Delta Gamma dues or expenses

ç DG Foundation's undergraduate giving society – celebrates
collegians who make a gift to the Foundation
ç Educates collegians on the mission and goals of the DG
Foundation
ç Collegians can join at two levels
ç Sailors Club – gift of at least $18.73
ç Captains Club – gift of at least $51.00
ç In 2015-2016, there were over 600 collegians who donated
to the DG Foundation!

goals and objectives
ç Designed to encompass all areas of chapter operations and to
serve as a major resource to:
ç Evaluate chapter function

ç Promote overall growth and improvement

The entire CMT/JCMT contributes to PPD Award success by
ç Establishing well-defined and measurable goals and a plan
to meet the goals
ç Ensuring no evidence of hazing in chapter life
ç Encouraging members’ active involvement in campus

ç Creating a chapter which receives campus honors
ç Timely reporting and submissions in e-Ops+

responsibilities as described in the Collegiate Chapters Officers Manual.
