The magnificent Jaipur House, once the
residence of Maharaja of Jaipur in Delhi
and now the house of National Gallery of
Modern Art (NGMA),

The Jaipur House interiors and showcases


the diverse art forms architecture, textile,
painting, crafts, bamboo, sculpture,
ceramics.

The structure as the butterfly layout and the


central dome made by red and yellow stone
INFORMATION
• Ticket counter on the entrance of New Wing.
• Security check on the right of the entrance with
lockers placed on the side.
• Washroom on the right corner of the entrance and
on level 2.
• A gift shop on the left of the entrance along with a
seating space.
• Ramps run along the side walls of the building and
windows run along the ramp.
• Fire exit on each corner of the building at basement
and ground level of width approx. 800mm. On rest
of the floors fire exists were placed on each landing
of the ramp.
• Paintings are hanged on the wall panels with the
center of the painting at an eye level of 1500mm.
• Warm white track lights and focus lights of Decon
are installed. Light panels of white colour are
hanged on the ceiling.
