Abstract

• This is a smart control of speed of the electric vehicle to enhance the safety of

the rider.

• In this system ,we planned to control the vehile speed by limiting the

maximum speed to maintain a safe distance.

• The motion and speed of vehicle at front the electric bike is determined and

speed is varied and limited to speed of the front vehicle.

Objective
• The main objective of this project is to maintain the
safety of the rider from accident
• In recent days the accident due to increased number of
vehicle usage
• Impact of accident depends upon the speed of the
v e h i c l e s o b y e ff e c t i v e s p e e d c o n t r o l o f v e h i c l e t h e
impact of accident can be reduced
• By using this system we can avoid the accident by
maintaining safe distace while traveling.

Methodology

• The distance of the obstacle is measured by

the distance sensor.
• Then distance data is passed to
microcontroller
• Based on distance between obstacle and
rider a maximum speed is determined.
• Then the speed of the bike limited to
estimated maximum speed
