 WHAT IS EDUCATION?

● The discipline with methods of teaching and learning

● The process of acquiring knowledge such as skills, values and personal
development
● Formal education- Learning that takes place in schools and other educational
institutions
● Informal education- Knowledge and experiences gained throughout a person’s
lifetime
● The goal of education is to create personal growth and improvement in an
individual
 WHO SHOULD BE EDUCATED?

● Children should be given education from a young age

● This allows them to pick up basic skills and knowledge early on as a foundation
● Children also benefit from knowing their rights to avoid being exploited
● Young adults then move one to higher education in institution such as
universities and colleges
● They will be prepared to face the working environments based the their selected
fields of occupation
 WHEN TO EDUCATE?

● Educating the younglings since they were a child is crucial as research

said that they learn faster and more efficient compared to adults.
● It is also important to educate them in early childhood so they will be
able to adapt with upcoming challenges in the future.
● Able to provide children with advantages that are amplified and
reinforced over time.
 WHY MUST WE BE EDUCATED?
● Education will create a better society for all genders. It is said because gender
discrimination, gender inequality and gender bias will be diminished if all human-beings
are well educated.
● By having education, each and everyone can have a stable life with a stable job with the
education level they have. By having a stable job, people can live their life happily without
not so worrying about their financial situation.
● By having education, we can gain as much knowledge about the world we currently living
in and it is also hard for others to scam us or cheat us in certain ways.
● Interpersonal skills will be build if we are well educated. Interpersonal skills are crucial as
we work with different people from different backgrounds in our workplace
 HOW TO EDUCATE ?
● Use various types of pedagogies . By using different type of pedagogies, students can
learn a specific lesson faster and easier and students will not be boring while
acquiring the knowledge.
● Integrate technology into classroom. By integrating technology into classroom,
students will have wider resources to research on their lesson and they can have
better understanding on the topic.
● Use the method cooperative learning. By initializing cooperative learning, students
tend to improve their communication skills with others and they could also finish a
task together creatively.
● A good teacher-student relationship is crucial. A teacher should know and understand
each and every student’s need and their way of thinking so that the teacher can create
a safe, happy learning environment.
