INTRODUCTION TO THE COMPANY.

 With the hardwork of this 33 year old young entrepreneur Tariq Ahmad Bhat from Srinagar
Jammu and Kashmir, who was science graduate from Amar Singh College and wanted to go for
some government job like his father. He had never thought of doing business but coincidence
made him do so by figuring out the opportunity and grasps the idea at proper time and place, he
doesn’t only followed his idea but also create demand for his newly introduced change in
Kashmiri culture and disrupt the traditional restaurant business of the valley with providing an
alternative by introducing “ITALIAN PIZZA” by starting his own venture “Amigo’s Food And
Hospitality”.

 Supply chains are actually a network of manufacturer, supplier, distributors, retailers etc.
 There are many suppliers of Amigo's but they are divided into 2 parts.
 Direct Suppliers: Pepsi Company, Buns, First mineral water.
 Indirect Suppliers: Meat market.
Vegetable market.
Sauces company
Social environment of sector.

 Most of Amigo’s customers are kids and youngsters from 6 years to 30 years of age with
average income of 30k, as they want to try and taste new things and do not just want to
stick to traditional stuff only.
Challenges for the company.

 The biggest challenge is non availability of skilled staff locally. He has to bring the chefs
and other skilled service providers from outside, while as his majority workers are hired
locally.
 In the present time of crisis Delivering only a pizza to the doorstep is not that simple as it
seems to be. He has to make sure the safety of the people is taken into consideration. The
employees and the staff are Covid free so that it doesn't infect their customers.
Strategies to overcome challenges.

 The best way to overcome the challenges faced by Tariq is to train the existing workers/
employees.
 When it comes to the crisis period they make sure their employees who are serving
hundreds of people everyday are properly tested and diagnosed for the safety of all.

 Amigo's is also involved in sponsorship of events.
 Different variety of cuisines are offered.

 Venture more into home delivery.
 Threats:-Diet conscious people avoiding pizza.
 Parents not allowing children for more junk.
 Threat for high emerging competition.
 Rising prices of basic needed materials like vegetables, cheese etc.
Future plans:

 For opening more such outlets in the other


towns of Kashmir, Tariq has a strict plan.
He won’t be awarding any franchises. They
will have their own outlet where they will have
full control over quality.

 The team should focus on business communication,


organizational development and change.
In future they should recruit skilled candidates
as their employees. They should train and
support employees to their fullest potential.
