EXPERIENCE
The Experience was overall good. We learnt many things how the slum people live there life
beside they don’t have much good basic needs. We visited ‘SHUSHI BHAWANA MOOR’ It’s
basically the slum area where families are live. And its outside the Palam area. Firstly, we asked
the questions as we have questionnaire with us. After some time, they came in group and want to
know what is happening. We make them understand about our project. After wards, some
demanded Money and some Blanket for giving the answers. Secondly, as we got to know about
the 5 parameters from 10 families. We all got little bit emotion after listening their problems and
struggles are, they facing. Also, we realized that many people don’t have basic need things as
these are very important for survive. Experience of my team has been good but when we reached
there then all team member got emotional after listening their problem and condition. That time
we felt that basic needs are very important for life. We have taken promise for doing something in
the future for poor family.

RECOMMENDATION
Government need to understand that urban poor people are not just to take votes at the time of
elections, they are having a great hand in the country's economy and our country will only progress
when these people are being treated as the part of society and are given respect and support via
different government policies and plans.
Local governments should develop strategies to prevent the formation of new slums such as access to
affordable land, reasonably priced materials, employment opportunities, and basic infrastructure and
social services.
Public investments must focus on providing access to basic services and infrastructure. Working with
the urban poor, cities need to invest in housing, water, sanitation, energy, and urban services, such as
garbage disposal.
CONCLUSION

Our Hypothesis: we feel that the economic factor plays an important role in Human happiness
Index of our target group.
Our Findings: for slum dwellers economic factor is not the only factor that affect their happiness
in their life other factors are equally important for them.
Some of the unseen picture of the society was in front of us. We were feeling very lucky at that
time of having the facilities and luxuries which are provided by our parents to us. It’s so strange
that a place just a few kilometers from our College seems like a completely different world. this
project was very exciting.
