 MAN
MAN is a larger network as compared
to LAN. It covers metro or a city .
MAN
is used to connect the offices of an
organization spread across the city
 WAN
This type of network covers very large
Area, often a country or continent .
This is normally used by a large
organizations whose offices are spread
across the country or in different
countries.
Network tepology

STAR
RING

Bus topology is a specific kind of
network topology in which all of
the various device in the network are
connected to a single cable or line .In
general ,the term refers to how
various devices are set up in a
Network.
STAR
• In this type of network layout ,all computers are
connected to a central device are called HUB or
Switch. All the information pass through the hub
or switch before it can be transferred to the
destination.
 RING
A ring network is a network topology in
which each node connects to exactly to
other nodes, forming a single continuous
pathway for signals through each node-a
ring .Data travels form node to node, with
each node along the way handing every
packet .
