factors, and through related changes in

• Desensitization due to violence exposure in real-life, video
games, television, movies, and the internet

• witnessed violence, threat of violence, repeated bullying,
perceived safety, and criminal victimization.
• Consequences include post traumatic stress disorder,
alcohol and drug use, and depression.
